Privacy
This site collects minimal personal information. Specifically:
- Server logs: standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp). Retained for 30 days for diagnostic purposes only.
- Comment data: if you leave a comment on an article, your name, email address (not displayed publicly), and comment content are stored. Used only to display the comment and to contact you if you ask a question that warrants a private reply.
- Analytics: aggregate page-view counts via privacy-respecting analytics. No personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting.
- Cookies: WordPress sets a small number of session cookies for comment functionality. No tracking cookies, no third-party advertising cookies.
You can request deletion of any personal data we hold by emailing the address on the contact page. We will respond within 30 days.

The recommendations in articles are based on what Tim personally pays for and uses on his own niche site portfolio. The affiliate relationships above exist, but they do not determine the editorial line. Several tools with high commission rates are explicitly NOT recommended in articles, and several recommended tools have no affiliate program at all.
How affiliate links are implemented on this site
Every affiliate link on the site is cloaked through a /go/ redirect — for example, /go/rayobyte redirects to the Rayobyte affiliate URL. The redirect carries an X-Robots-Tag: noindex, nofollow header and a 302 status code, and every clickable link uses rel="nofollow sponsored". The /go/ path is also blocked in robots.txt. This is standard practice that keeps the affiliate footprint out of Google’s index without obscuring the destination from a human visitor — you can always hover any link to see where it goes.

Affiliate links route through this site’s own /go/ redirect first, then on to the affiliate program’s own tracking domains (e.g. the merchant’s own affiliate URL or networks such as impact.com or post-affiliate-pro). Those merchants have their own privacy policies which apply once you click through.
